Alleged 'Party Mom' gets limited visits with her kids
A judge ruled Wednesday that the woman accused of throwing wild parties for teens will only have limited contact with her four children.
Beth Modica, 44, is charged with numerous counts of rape, sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child. In all, the former Rockland assistant district attorney faces 35 counts.
A family court judge ruled Modica can only have phone contact with her two oldest children and just three-hour visits on the weekends with her two youngest children.
Modica is accused of hosting parties at her Sloatsburg home for her son?s friends from Suffern High School over the summer. Prosecutors say Modica provided the teens with drugs and alcohol and had sexual contact with two teens.
Beth Modica is the wife of Spring Valley Police Chief Paul Modica. The two are separated.
Sources tell News 12 the Ramapo Police Department has a significant amount of evidence against Modica. She is due back in court next week.
