In a rare interview, Eliot Spitzer, the former governor of New York, recently sat down with Tara Rosenblum to discuss everything from politics to his personal life.
Spitzer became the “sheriff of Wall Street” during his tenure as state attorney general. He was then elected in 2007 to the office of governor. He resigned in 2008 due to his involvement in a prostitution ring.
When asked what life lessons he has learned since then, he responded: "Without delving into too much, we all can be replaced.”
LISTEN: A Turn to Tara companion podcast of her interview with Eliot Spitzer:
Tara’s interview touches on the current status of Wall Street, the possibility of another run at office and what Spitzer believes his legacy will be.
"When I walk down the street, the people come up to me, they remember what I did as attorney general whether it's standing up to Wall Street, the environment, civil rights...That's what I'm proud of, and if that's the legacy, then that's great with me."
The full interview with the former governor will air Wednesday starting at 8:30 p.m.
