Police say they're searching for whomever broke into Wawaynda Town Hall and stole court documents from the court offices.
The incident occurred sometime overnight Wednesday. Police say the burglar, or burglars, broke into the locked building by smashing windows.
Authorities say originals of some traffic tickets and court calendars are missing - but there are duplicates of both.
Court and town officials declined to comment other than to say it isn't believed sensitive or personal information was compromised.
