A special ceremony was held in Croton-on-Hudson for a boy scout who faces more challenges than most.
Daniel Parker earned the rank of Eagle Scout Saturday, the highest rank in the Boy Scouts of America.
Parker was born blind and has progressive hearing loss, which can make leading others a challenge.
His troop says they will miss the 18-year-old when he heads off to college this fall. Parker says he may spend the summer as a camp counselor before heading to Brandeis University to study languages.
