Nyack has a new mayor this morning after conservative incumbent Richard Kavesh conceded to Democrat Jen White, who won 62 percent of the vote.
White was a village trustee for one year before running for mayor.
Mayor-Elect White says she ran for mayor because she wanted to change the direction the village was headed in.
