Divers scour river for missing Army reservist
State police divers returned into the frigid waters of the Hudson River Tuesday to continue their search for a Spring Valley Army reservist who they think jumped off the Tappan Zee Bridge.
Police believe 23-year-old Wolf Aristilde drove an SUV onto the Tappan Zee Bridge Sunday night and leaped to his death.
Charles Aristilde says his son showed no sign of depression or suicidal thoughts prior to the incident.
Wolf Aristilde, who was working on completing his bachelor's degree, was scheduled to be sent to Iraq this summer. According to authorities, Aristilde expressed no concerns regarding his upcoming deployment.
Police say weather permitting, they will continue the search Wednesday.
