A popular pie shop in Manhattan has now opened in Brooklyn

Petee's Pie has opened an all-day cafe on Myrtle Avenue in Clinton hill.

The modern dessert shop and bakery offers an assortment of flavors for fruit, chess, nut, custard and icebox pies.

There are about a dozen different pies to choose from, but with summer approaching, the strawberry rhubarb is becoming a favorite, owner Petra Paredez says.

Paredez says everything is available by the slice or as whole 9" pie in-store.

He says the pies are popular because of their buttery crusts.

"The strawberries are really fragrant, the rhubarb is really beautiful and super tart and when you have the right ratio of rhubarb to strawberry, it really turns into something magical," Paredez says.
