An indictment may be looming in the federal investigation of former Westchester District Attorney Jeanine Pirro.

Investigators are looking into whether Pirro secretly taped conversations in her White Plains office while serving as district attorney. Pirro reportedly demanded the tapes be destroyed when she left office. However, the tapes are instead part of a federal criminal probe.

The probe began when Pirro was allegedly caught planning to wiretap her husband on his boat because she suspected he was having an affair.

William Aronwald, a former federal prosecutor and frequent Pirro critic, is now representing the former district attorney. Aronwald says Pirro has committed no crime and he doesn?t expect her to be indicted.
