Jennifer Dulos' five children will remain with her mother in New York City as police continue their search for the missing Connecticut mom.
New Canaan police tell News 12 they have heard from dozens of people since their request Tuesday for surveillance video to help in this case, but they won't say whether the footage has provided any clues to where Dulos is.
Attorneys representing Dulos, her mother Gloria Farber, her estranged husband Fotis Dulos and the kids appeared for a status conference in Stamford Wednesday.
The children, ages 8 to 13, have been staying with their maternal grandmother in New York City since Jennifer Dulos disappeared May 24.
Farber has petitioned for custody of her grandchildren and a judge told Farber's attorney Wednesday to schedule a hearing for her request to be heard.
The lawyer appointed for the kids said in court he met with them Tuesday and that they are safe and in good care.
The childrens' father, Fotis Dulos, remains in jail on a $500,000 bond. He is charged in connection with his estranged wife's disappearance. Authorities say he was caught on camera throwing out items soaked in her blood.
The judge has ordered he have no contact with his children until the court decides otherwise.
State troopers packed the New Canaan Police Department parking lot Wednesday, as investigators work on a case that has drawn nationwide attention.
Jennifer Dulos had been going through a bitter two-year divorce with her estranged husband.
Fotis Dulos and his girlfriend Michelle Troconis both face charges of tampering with or fabricating evidence and hindering prosecution. The prosecutor says more charges are likely.
Both are due back in court June 11.
