A Mount Hope pizzeria had a regular Wednesday turned upside-down when 2 Louisiana fugitives showed up for slices.

Soon after serving Kristan Broussard, 33, and Ursula Bourque, 30, Pizza Mania owner Brian Noyes watched a takedown unfold.

"They drew their weapons on them, had them go to the ground and cuffed them," says Noyes.

Broussard is accused of fatally shooting Richard Southern in New Iberia, Louisiana, on Friday after a reported argument.

He had been on the run with Bourque, who authorities say was not involved in the killing.

The arrests made Pizza Mania the talk of the town. Noyes said in a Q&A with reporters, "I guess any press is good press!"

Authorities say the pair evaded capture in New Jersey after leading police on a chase and crashing their car. It is believed the two then took a taxi to a house in Middletown before walking several miles to Mount Hope.

The two were captured with a stolen, loaded handgun after police received a tip of a suspicious couple looking into area cars.

The couple now faces charges in New York and extradition to Louisiana.
