Police say a car hit the side of a Coram home and the driver took off.

The incident happened on Paul’s Path just before 2 a.m.

Video obtained by News 12 shows a Nissan Pathfinder sitting against the home. The impact caused damage to the siding.

Officers say when they arrived on the scene, the car was empty.

A source on the scene tells News 12 a K-9 unit was out looking for the driver and someone may have spotted him on a neighboring street going through a yard.

No arrests have been made and police say the investigation is ongoing.

There is no word yet on what may have caused the crash.
