Puerto Ricans showed up in the pouring rain Thursday night--fed up by recent government decisions and are asking their governor to step down.

From the balconies to the streets, everyone joined together for a peaceful protest. Gathering in the streets of Old San Juan in La Fortaleza, calling for Governor Wanda Vasquez to step down.

Unclaimed relief items were found in Ponce near the areas most affected by recent earthquakes. Those supplies had been sitting in a warehouse since 2017 when Hurricane Maria struck.

They say their cries are for those struggling to get back on their feet in the Southwest of the island.

The protest brought many to the streets. This is one of the many since the unclaimed funds were found.

Despite all of this, the governor has said she has no plans of stepping down.
