The dog days of summer are behind us but families and their four-legged friends in Ramapo still know how to have a good time.
The 16th annual Town of Ramapo Dog Swim was held Sunday.
Each pet owner was able to bring up to three dogs, big or small, to paddle, jump, and play in the pool located on Spook Rock Road in Suffern.
Organizers of the event say it's the dogs' favorite day of the year! "They play, they swim in the water and have fun. They play with other dogs and they have a chance to cool off and enjoy the pool the way people do during the summer," says Town of Ramapo Supervisor Michael Specht
