Suffern is serving notice that they will be contenders in Section One Class AA this year.   

The Mounties are coming off one of the best years in program history, and despite losing to Mount Vernon in their opener, they have been rolling ever since. This weekend they got balance scoring from Clev Lubin, Jo’el Emanuel and Jaden Edozie to beats Pearl River for their fourth straight win.

The girls AA section is also wide open.  This weekend features a rematch of the last three section championship games in Class B as Briarcliff hosted Irvington. Both teams came into the game undefeated. Briarcliff’s Alana Lombardi had 16 points as she her team to the 39-25.
