The Orange County Land Trust launches wilderness campaign effort

The effort will focus on communities like the town of Deerpark and water quality protection for the city of Port Jervis.

The Orange County Land Trust is kicking off its “Save Orange County’s Last Wilderness” campaign to raise awareness for the need to protect drinking water sources, wildlife habitats and enhance flood protections.
Orange County Land Trust was founded in 1993 by Louis Van Orden Mills and has protected over 7,000 acres of natural and agricultural landscapes, according to its website.
The effort will focus on communities like the town of Deerpark and water quality protection for the city of Port Jervis.
