Tipster leads police to suspected Middletown burglars
Police are crediting an anonymous caller with the arrest of three suspected burglars in Middletown.
According to police, a woman called 911 Thursday to report a break-in at 77 Sprague Ave. Officers picked up two 16-year-olds and a 15-year-old at the scene. Investigators say they've already connected the teens with a break-in on Phillips Avenue and believe they may be responsible for others.
Police also say the teens admitted they are members of the Respected By All gang, an offshoot of the Bloods.
More charges could be pending against the teens; they currently face second-degree burglary charges.
