Tree cutting crews hard at work after storm
Tree cutting crews have spent the last two days working tirelessly to remove the trees knocked down by the weekend nor'easter.
Among the trees being cut apart and carted away is a 60-year-old poplar tree that crashed through Betty Batchelder's Closter Road home. Batchelder says she's lived in the home since 1962 and has never seen wind and rain quite like this weekend's.
Jim O'Sullivan, of O'Sullivan Tree Care, says the last time he was this busy removing trees was following Hurricane Floyd.
Batchelder says despite the damage to her home, she feels lucky things weren't worse.
