A shooting in the Williamsbridge area killed a teenager and sent two others to the hospital early Sunday morning, officials say.
It happened just after 1 a.m. outside of 756 E. 232nd St. Police say a large house party was taking place when someone pulled out a gun and started firing, striking the three victims.
A 17-year-old male was shot in the torso. He was taken to Montefiore Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Another 17-year-old boy was also struck in the leg, and a 17-year-old girl was hit in the left foot. Police say their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
There is no word from police on whether there is a suspect in the shootings.
