Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins announced Tuesday that 116 new hybrid-electric buses are now a part the Bee-line bus fleet.
The vehicles feature accessibility upgrades, more comfortable seats, bike racks and charging ports.
Jenkins also said the buses are better for the environment.
"Replacing the remaining diesel-fueled buses means a cleaner fleet, lower emissions and quieter vehicles that are better for our environment and the communities our buses travel through every day," Jenkins said.
