A Rockland County teen who died last month in a motorcycle crash in Queens was honored this week.

Over February break, 16-year-old Allie Ariza died after the motorcycle she was on hit a car in Queens.

Her parents chose to share her organs, giving three people a second chance at life with her heart, liver and kidneys. Organ donation advocacy nonprofit LiveOnNY calls Ariza a hero.

Clarkstown High School South Principal Debbie Tarantino says the first day back from break, students encouraged everyone to wear their friend's favorite color. At her wake and funeral this week, people waited in line for hours to hug her family.
