Two Hudson Valley residents are facing charges for being part of a massive corruption ring.
Corey Gilmore, of Garnerville, and Garth Small, of Mount Vernon, are among 70 current and former NYCHA employees facing bribery and extortion charges.
Police say they accepted cash payments from contractors in exchange for contracts.
The Justice Department says the ring accepted $2 million and awarded almost $13 million in no-bid contracts.
Sixty-six defendants were arrested in the tri-state area and in North Carolina on Tuesday.
