Two men are miraculously alive after a car they were in tumbled off a three-story parking structure at a Mount Vernon mall and fell into a Target parking lot below.
The Ford SUV flipped over, had its roof smashed in and had its airbags deployed. Parts of the car were littered everywhere.
The Mount Vernon Fire Department says the two men were sent to the hospital, but their injuries aren't life threatening.
The man who towed the car tells News 12 it was one of the worst accidents he's ever seen.
"It's impressive. This vehicle was severely damaged. I'm surprised anyone that was in it is still alive," says Rob Benedettini, manager of Star Auto Body
Officials are still investigating what exactly caused the car to fall off the ledge.
