Students at Kerhonkson Elementary School in Ulster County were evacuated Monday morning after a suspicious package was found outside the building.
The package, later determined to be a burning flashlight, prompted a swift response from law enforcement.
Two juveniles have been arrested in connection with the incident. An investigation revealed the same individuals are also responsible for setting a series of fires in the school's parking lot over the weekend.
