A village of Nyack employee and another man are charged with attempted murder in a weekend stabbing that left another man hospitalized.
Frank Delorenzo, 27, was found on Artopee Way in Nyack early Saturday morning, bleeding from multiple knife wounds. Police say he had been stabbed on North Franklin Avenue and collapsed a few blocks later.
Two men, 32-year-old Kenneth Byre and 29-year-old Gregory Dubuisson, were arrested in the attack and charged with attempted murder. Police say Byre is a village of Nyack parking attendant who was allegedly on duty at the time of the stabbing.
Delorenzo was taken to the hospital, where he underwent surgery for his wounds. He remains hospitalized in fair condition. Byre and Dubuisson are due back in court Tuesday.
