2 Poughkeepsie residents arrested for armed robbery

Ashley Rizzo and Keith Woodin were taken into custody after police responded to a report of an armed robbery on Main Street.

Two Poughkeepsie residents were arrested Thursday for allegedly robbing a person at knifepoint, police said.
Ashley Rizzo and Keith Woodin were taken into custody after police responded to a report of an armed robbery on Main Street. The victim told police that they were robbed at knifepoint and provided descriptions of the suspects.
Police located and arrested Rizzo and Woodin based on the descriptions.
Rizzo was charged with second-degree robbery. Woodin was charged with second-degree robbery, menacing, and criminal possession of a weapon.
Both suspects are being held at the Dutchess County Jail.
