5h agoTwo senior women are recovering after crashing their car into a Rockland County home on Wednesday morning, according to police.
The Piermont Fire Department says it happened just after 11:30 a.m. at the corner of Valentine and South Piermont avenues.
Upon arrival, crews found the car under the two-story deck in the back of the home.
The deck was partially collapsed due to the lower supports being destroyed by the impact.
Crews worked to stabilize the deck as the two women were removed and then evaluated by EMS.
No serious injuries were reported. The cause of the crash was not immediately clear.
