Police in Rockland County are investigating two separate bicycle accidents.
Both cyclists were hit by vehicles in different locations.
Ramapo police say a 17-year-old boy, who has not yet been identified, was rushed to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla with a fractured skull, concussion and broken ribs. His injuries are non-life threatening.
Investigators say the cyclist was coming down the hill on his way to school and the driver was going up. That's when the driver hit the cyclist and then drove off.
Detectives say they have one clue in the hit-and-run accident - a mirror that the car left behind. Police say it may belong to a silver Lincoln Town Car.
Another cyclist was hit in Suffern just 12 hours earlier. Jose Alfredo Cisneros Jimenez, 28, was hit by an Orange and Rockland Utility truck on Route 59 near Good Samaritan Hospital.
He was also taken to the trauma unit at the Westchester Medical Center and is in critical condition.
