2 Spring Valley residents arrested for New Year's Day DUI incidents

Both drivers received multiple tickets for various vehicle and traffic violations.

Two Spring Valley residents are facing charges related to driving while intoxicated on New Year's Day, as confirmed by the Ramapo Police Department.
The first arrest occurred in the early evening when authorities responded to a car accident on Rockland Lane. They discovered a 29-year-old driver, allegedly intoxicated, who had crashed onto another resident's property.
Later, around 8 p.m., officers encountered a vehicle stopped in the middle of a road, with a 25-year-old man found sleeping behind the wheel. Subsequently, he was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated.
Both drivers received multiple tickets for various vehicle and traffic violations. They are scheduled to appear in the Town of Ramapo Justice Court on a later date to address these charges.
