There are 10 more state-run mass vaccination sites set to open Saturday, including two in the Hudson Valley.
One site is located at SUNY Orange in Middletown, the other is at Ulster Fairgrounds in New Paltz.
The sites will be open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. to give out thousands of shots.
Not everyone in the Hudson Valley is happy with the opening of the new sites. Rockland County Executive Ed Day says he's been calling for a mass vaccination site for months, but that still hasn't happened. That's despite Rockland having one of the highest infections and death rates in the state.
"My God, what the hell, we can't stop people from dying," says Day.
Rockland residents can use the new mass vaccination sites or the existing ones.
