A driver got trapped between live power lines earlier today when his car crashed into a utility pole in Congers.
The accident happened just before 9:30 a.m. near Lake Road on Route 9W. Orange and Rockland utility crews cut the power so rescue crews could retrieve the driver, who was taken to Nyack Hospital with minor injuries.
About 2,000 customers lost power for nine minutes at the time of the crash.
