The owner of a New Jersey construction company was sentenced to three months in prison for the death of a worker at a Poughkeepsie construction site.

Finbar O'Neill, 57, was also sentenced to one year probation.

His company, Onekey, was fined about $218,000 and sentenced to one year probation.

The accident happened in 2017 at a site at 1 Dutchess Ave. when a wall that was holding dirt back collapsed and killed a worker.

The U.S. Attorney's Office said the company did not follow a plan dealing with a soil compaction at the site, which was designed by an engineering firm.
