The father and son rabbis charged with starting the deadly fire at the Evergreen Court Home for Adults in Spring Valley are due back in court on Tuesday - when a plea deal is expected to be finalized.

Sources tell News 12 the plea deal between Nathaniel and Aaron Sommer and Rockland District Attorney Thomas Walsh may keep them out of jail.

The duo was charged with manslaughter in the death of volunteer firefighter Jared Lloyd and a 79-year-old resident.

Local firefighters are expected to protest the plea deal tomorrow morning outside of Rockland County Court.

The judge is set to rule on the plea deal at 9:30 a.m.
