CDC: Hudson Valley has lower depression rates than rest of NY

According to the agency, 16.8% of adults in New York have been diagnosed with depression.

A new CDC report says that people living in the Hudson Valley are less depressed than the rest of the state.

           

According to the agency, 16.8% of adults in New York have been diagnosed with depression.                        

Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, and Dutchess were among the ten counties with the lowest rates of depression.

           

Ulster County had a rate of 19.4% of people who received a depression diagnosis in their lives.
