Police say 40-year-old Ernesto Serrano and 39-year-old Velvet Jefferson entered the Walgreens on White Plains Road last Thursday and stole about $5,000.

They drove off, but the NYPD stopped them.

An investigation revealed that the two had about $8,000 worth of assorted over-the-counter medication thought to be the proceeds of other larcenies elsewhere, according to authorities.

Both were charged with grand larceny.

Serrano was also wanted for numerous charges in Brooklyn, including grand larceny.
