The World Series is now underway and baseball fans have the city of Hoboken to thank for that.

Many people may not realize that the beginning of baseball took shape in the 1800s right in New Jersey.

Hoboken was recording early baseball games even before Cooperstown.

News 12’s Roxanne Evans took a look at this history.
