The Yonkers Fire Department is mourning the loss of retired firefighter John Garbowski.
Garbowski joined the Yonkers Fire Department in 1989.
He served as the union president until 2005.
His wake will be tomorrow at McHoul Funeral Home in Hopewell Junction from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
