Route 52 reopens after weekend building fire in Kent

Route 52 is now open again after a building fire in the town of Kent over the weekend.

The road closure was initially reported on Saturday, with police announcing that Route 52 was closed from Barrett Hill Road to Chauncey Road due to efforts to extinguish a structure fire.

Officials successfully evacuated everyone from the building, and the fire was extinguished. The Red Cross was stationed at the Lake Carmel Fire Department to provide assistance following the incident.

The cause of the fire has not been released.
