Department of Corrections: Man serving time for burglary in Bronxville found dead in state prison

The New York state Department of Corrections says a 58-year-old man serving time for burglary in Bronxville was found dead in a state prison.
Carmelo Rivera died Monday afternoon at the Green Haven Correctional Facility in Dutchess County.
Rivera had been incarcerated since April 2016, serving a 15 ½ year-sentence for an apartment burglary that occurred in July 2014.
The Dutchess County Medical Examiner's Office will be conducting an autopsy.
