Bedford police say a resident has been charged in a crash last September that injured his brother.

Detectives say 24-year-old Marcus Vamosy was speeding north on Bedford Road when his Jeep Grand Cherokee hit a van and a utility pole before ending in the parking lot of an auto parts store.

His brother, also 24, was thrown from the vehicle and suffered a serious head injury.

Vamosy was charged with reckless endangerment.
