A new group of leaders will ensure Yonkers is a safe place for everyone to feel included.

Seven people were sworn in Friday as members of Mayor Mike Spano's LGBTQ+ advisory board.

They will be supporting the LGBTQ+ community in city.

Spano said it's a way to celebrate diversity and work towards a more inclusive future for all.
