A new colorful RV will be driving around the city of Yonkers in hopes of spreading peace through therapeutic and healing services.

Yonkers Family YMCA partnered with local agencies to bring the "PeaceMobile RV" to life.

The bright purple and orange recreation vehicle is supposed to be a sanctuary on wheels.

When guests step inside, they will find spaces to meditate, do yoga, as well as make music and art.

The initiative is to redefine crisis response in the communities affected by violence.

The city says the partnership between the YMCA, Yonkers Police Department and the state delegation is a step toward a harmonious future for Yonkers.
