A Spring Valley man has been found guilty of violating an order of protection and resisting arrest following a domestic disturbance incident last July.

Authorities responded to a call reporting the disturbance, where they discovered a woman with injuries and Michael McCutchen present inside the residence, in violation of a court-issued order of protection.

During the attempted arrest, McCutchen became combative with the officers.

He now faces a potential sentence of one to four years in state prison. Sentencing has been scheduled for June 26.
