Millions expected to hit the road for July Fourth

A traffic alert has been issued for Dutchess County regarding upcoming bridge replacement work on Stanford Road in the Village of Millbrook and the Town of Washington.

The construction is scheduled to commence on May 1. During the construction period, the section of Stanford Road near Dineen Road will be closed. A detour will be in place along Franklin Avenue and State Route 44.

Motorists should anticipate delays in the affected area due to the closure and detour. Please plan alternative routes accordingly.
