A ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new aquatic-inspired mural at JFK Marina in Yonkers was held on Wednesday afternoon.

Mayor Mike Spano joined the city’s Parks, Recreation and Conservation Department, as well as the Westchester Mural Group to unveil the new addition.

As the marina’s first public mural, Yonkers Arts described the piece as a “mirror reflection of the beautiful scenery of the river.”

The mural is one of three murals to be unveiled as part of Yonkers Arts Weekend.
