In the most watched race, Rep. Jamaal Bowman lost the Democratic primary to Westchester County Executive George Latimer. According to ad tracking firm Adimpact, it was the most expensive House primary on record. In the end, Latimer won by roughly 17 points despite Bowman winning big in the Bronx.
