A Port Jervis man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for attempting to rape a child under 11.
James Pospisil, 45, pleaded guilty to the charges, admitting to the attempted crime between December last year and January.
In addition to his prison term, Pospisil will serve 15 years of post-release supervision and must register as a sex offender.
