'Stop the steal of our democracy' rally targets Trump, local politicians in White Plains
The group is protesting what they describe as the "anti-democratic and illegal actions of the Trump administration." People are just starting to show up for the event.

A protest was held Monday in White Plains to speak out against the new Republican administration.
The rally was held by a group named "Fight Lawler" to protest against what they say are "anti-democratic and illegal actions of the Trump Administration."
It brought over 50 people together on the steps of the federal courthouse building in White Plains.
Protestors carried pickets and American flags.
The protest comes in response to a myriad of policy changes President Trump has enacted.
It also comes in opposition of tech CEO Elon Musk's involvement in the federal government, including his leadership of the White House Department of Government Efficiency Task Force, also known as D.O.G.E.
The task force has been under fire by several lawmakers after it was granted access to sensitive information in the United States Treasury Department.
"President Trump: You are in charge, and you are letting Elon Musk walk all over you," protestor Lisa Pell said. "We need you to be strong. We do not want a dark, gothic tech take over."
Locally, protestors expressed their frustration with Rep. Mike Lawler, who represents District 17.
Protestors say he has failed to maintain a bipartisan stance, and to denounce some of the most recent actions by the Trump Administration.
Event organizer Ann Starrer hopes these protests will embolden more people to come out and exercise their First Amendment rights.
"We need people who normally would sit at home and take our democracy for granted to get out there and protest what is going on," said Starrer.
News 12 emailed and called Rep. Mike Lawler's office for a response and have not heard back.
