A Marlboro man has been arrested for allegedly having sex with a 15-year-old girl last month, according to police.

The Ulster County Sheriff’s Office says they received a report about the crime on Jan. 29.

The charges against 23-year-old Jonathan Aragon Perez include five counts of rape and endangering the welfare of a child.

Police say he was taken to the centralized arraignment part court of Ulster County, arraigned and then remanded to jail.

He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Marlborough justice court at a future date.
