Tree falls on mountain biker in Ulster County park

A man was injured Sunday morning when a tree fell on him while he was mountain biking at Kenneth Wilson State Park in Ulster County.
The Woodstock Fire Department said the 53-year-old man suffered a head injury while riding on one of the park's trails.
Crews used new wilderness rescue equipment and high-band radios to reach him and safely transport him to an ambulance.
After about an hour and a half, he was taken to HealthAlliance Hospital in Kingston.
There was no update on his condition as of Thursday morning.
