One man was arrested and another in the hospital after a dispute in Yonkers, according to police.

Yonkers police say the dispute happened around 3:15 p.m. on Monday on South Broadway between Highland Avenue and Undercliff Street.

A Yonkers police supervisor observed a dispute happening involving two men in front of 244 S. Broadway and tried to separate them.

Police say one man involved in the fight was bleeding heavily from a significant laceration to his arm.

A tourniquet was applied to control the bleeding, and the other man was placed into custody.

The injured man was transported to the hospital and is currently in stable condition.

Police believe the laceration was a result of the dispute between these two men, and that the man in custody is the only suspect in this incident.
